- Calibration of virtual world
Prototype
We use boxes as place holder in our prototype. Here is our video during our prototype process.
Challenges
Challenges about Hololens is described in my previous project The Wait, I described the problem of using Hololens and how I combine virtual world with real world.
Player Input
In AR, we cannot control the position where player stand, then the control tricky because when the player push forward, it's hard to tell the direction of forward for the character.
So I track the position of the Hololens headset, and calculate the relative direction of the character to the player. and calculate the direction to go according to this relative direction.
